Melbourne has a lot of amazing graffiti, stencils, paste-ups and artists. I got a little too excited and took a lot of photos that couldn’t fit in the last post so this is the street art part of the Melbourne entry.

Degraves

Subway

Degraves St when the cafes are closed and the shutters roll down.

I think these murals were inside a shop called Out Of The Closet (vintage clothing store?)

On a truck

Croft Alley in China town

Random alleys in the CBD

Streets/alleyways we wandered into while walking along Brunswick St.

Sadly, we didn’t have enough time to see everything in this fantastic city.

Wow. Seems like there in dearth to street art in Melbourne.
I am fascinated with street art & graffiti. With the current phases of rejection and acceptance it’s going through, it’s future remains a little ambiguous to me. Hope it survives, retaining it’s freedom of expression.

HEY HEY great posts, good to see you’re alive! You make me want to visit Melbourne again now. I haven’t been in years. There’s supposed to be graffitti of Brian Molko somewhere along Little Bourke St. One day I will make a pilgrimage to it.
